Tre Giudice has confirmed (via social media) that she will rejoin "The Legendary Housewives of New York City" for the third season. Guidice spoke about her departure from the series, her life during the break, and her return during an exclusive interview with People Magazine.
Interviewer: A lot of the fans and viewers dubbed you as the "Queen of LHONY." Why did you decide to depart the series after one season?
Tre: I had completed a reality television series before I joined the 'LHONY.' I wanted fans to see a different side of me. I highlighted the divorce of my ex-husband and discovered his infidelity with one of my cast members. After the Reunion, I was mentally done with reality television and needed a break.
Interviewer: What have you been doing post-housewives?
Tre: During my time away, I wrote a book that will be released soon. Also, I have a new man in my life.
Interviewer: Who is this mysterious man?
Tre: You'll have to wait to see [laughs].
Interviewer: Did you keep in touch with any of your cast members during your absence?
Tre: Well, some of my "friends" did not reach out to me, and another completely ignored my calls.
Interviewer: Any names of those "friends?"
Tre: Can't say too much right now. All I can say is you always find out who your real friends are.
