[They ride around the store for a few until they find some items for tonight's dinner. Customers take pictures and ask for autographs, making Nia get out the cart and come to her senses]
Chase (Nia's Boyfriend): Well Nia since we've finally got some time to ourselves I figured this would be the perfect time to address a few things that's been weighing heavy on my heart.
Nia: [Grabs bag of oranges and starts peeling/eating] Like what? You have that look like whatever you're about to say is gonna piss me off.
Chase: Well...I mean we've been sneaking around for several months since your divorce and no one really knows about me yet...they think I'm just one of your kids' friends or something.
Chase: I don't really care to be in the spotlight but it's hard to be in public and not hold your hand or grab you by your waist and get all the kisses I want. Maybe we should go public with the relationship, what do you think?
Nia: [Throws orange peelings on the floor and begins to wonder] Honestly, I've thought about it... I'm just still trying to wrap my head around how to tell everyone what's going on with us. I'm gonna be judged harshly for sleeping with a man 20 years younger than me, but I just couldn't help falling for your charm. Chase: I think it was meant to be, I had dealt with a lot that night too. From losing my dream job to a woman I poured my all into, only to leave me for the streets. Aaliyah Long Confessional: Today I’m meeting up with Kuren. Now I don’t even know Kuren, but she feels the need to call me stupid like a true “Karen.”
[Kuren walks in]
Kuren: Hey there pretty girl [smiles].
Aaliyah: Hello Kuren how are you today?
Kuren: I’m good honey. I loved this spot that you picked. How have you been?
Aaliyah: I've been good just working.
Kuren Sharapova Confessional: There was a lot of high tension at Tre’s Sip N Paint. So I can admit I lashed out at Aaliyah for no reason, but she should’ve minded her business.
Kuren: Okay work. What do you do for a living?
Aaliyah: I’m a daytime talk show host. I’m in the middle of developing my own talk show with NBC. What do you do for a living?
Kuren: I have a candy business. It’s called Sugarpova and we are about to open a store here in NYC. I’ll be having a grand opening soon.
Aaliyah Long Confessional: So she sells grandma candy…? Very fitting of her.
Kuren: Anyways, what did you think about the sip and paint the other day [sips drink].
