Janay: Today I am here with the latest woman to grace the cover of Essence Magazine, Adrianna Dakota Ray-Wilder. Hi Adrianna.
Adrianna: Hello Janay, you look beautiful.
Janay: You do too. How’s the family?
Adrianna: Awww thank you [smile]. The family is amazing.
Janay: You and Deontay have been married for five years, what is the secret of keeping a healthy marriage?
Adrianna: The secret of keeping a good healthy relationship is commitment, therapy, and sex.
Janay: How do you two keep your sex life active with your guy’s busy schedule?
Adrianna: Well sometimes we do it in the car, or a quickie here and there.
Janay: Oh. I know that’s right. So you have three baby daddies? How does co-parenting work with you guys?
Adrianna: Whew. I can finally say that it’s finally working out great! It has been a long and hard road to get to this point.
Janay: Why haven’t you and Deontay haven’t had kids yet? I’m sure you want him to be your next baby daddy.
Adrianna: Janay well damn [laughs]
Adrianna: Well, we have had this conversation before and we feel we have enough kids. But we are open to having one more kid.
Janay: We heard that your oldest son had health issues. How did you heal with that and how is he?
Adrianna: Well King is doing amazing. Praise God and we’re just taking it one day at a time.
Janay: Well I want to pivot. I’ve noticed you’ve been on the screen a lot lately. How does it feel to live your dream as an actress?
Adrianna: It feels so good! I’m doing what I love and I feel good about it.
Janay: What has been your best role?
Adrianna: I love my role on BMF.
Janay: I really love that show. Do you feel as if Sade opened the door for your career to be big?
Adrianna: I honestly do.
Janay: We love us some Sade [laughs]. What is your dream show to be a part of?
Adrianna: I would love to be a part of Rookie FEDs
Janay: Well all right. Oh, I have to ask this. Will there be another book?
Adrianna: Hmmm maybe [smile].
Janay: Okay girl [shuffles cards] What was your reasoning for starting your academy?
Adrianna: I wanted to give kids in the community an after-school program that they would love and keep them off the streets.
Janay: What is the goal of the dance school?
Adrianna: I would eventually like to open more of them.
Janay: So after all of this, are there any more business ventures you see for yourself?
Adrianna: Yes I would like to get into hair care.
Janay: Interesting. You have a cast mate, Monet Lawson, who has a hair care line. Do you feel like that would be messy?
Adrianna: I feel like Monet would be opening helping me.
Janay: Well piggybacking off that question. Why did you make those comments to Sade and Paris?
Adrianna: Whew… Well, I made some comments about them two because I was attacked first. Now was I wrong yes!
Janay: Do you ever see a time when you could be friends with either one of the ladies?
Adrianna: Short answer no.
Janay: Oh wow. I think there’s room. But we can move on. Why have you been successful on the show for so long?
Adrianna: I would have to say my mouth and my personal storylines are always giving!
Janay: Do you ever see yourself leaving the show?
Adrianna: Eventually.
Janay: An article for the new season came out and you have two new ladies to the cast. How do you feel about the new girls?
Adrianna: Let’s see one has a long ass neck and is messy. The other girl, I don’t know her she’s some baby mama of some rapper.
Janay: Okay. Lastly, Describe all your cast members with one word.
